Hiromi Kubo R.TCM.P., R.Ac., originally from Japan, came to Canada to enjoy skiing in Whistler and fell in love with the nature and people. She graduated in 2006 with a diploma of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, B.C. She completed her 5thyear clinical practice at Anhui TCM Hospital in Hefei, China.
Typically TCM treatments include Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion (warming method), Tuina (Chinese style massage and acupressure), Auricular Therapy (Ear Acupuncture), Guasha (scraping method), and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine knowledge and skills, she is always pursuing new techniques and information, especially from Japan. It includes Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA), Fukaya style moxibustion, and Japanese Kampo.
